Ski mountaineering: Ak Sai glacier - 7 Day
Ak Sai region of Ala Archa national park is a well know area for winter and summer climbing among local folks. Ski mountaineering options here include Korona peak 4860m - the shining crown of the region, Teke Tor 4441 m, Semenov Tien Shanskiy 4875 m offer steep 35-55 degrees sweet cherry pow skiing. Therefore we only suggest Ak Sai for advanced and expert riders with ski mountaineering experience behind the belt.
For all our ski mountaineering sessions around Ak Sai region we use public cabins built by soviet climbers to support expeditions in the area. Huts are small and may host the other visitors as well. Huts provide very basic comfort but you will be rewarded with deep snow epicness, steep couloirs and overwhelming panoramas.
