Yurt Ski: Backcountry Ski Touring in Karakol - 8 Day
Nothing beats a powder filled adventure with good friends in Kyrgyz Tien Shan mountains and the yurt based backcountry ski or splitboard experience in Kyrgyzstan is like none other. Hand crafted kyrgyz yurts - nomads shelters used by nomads since time immemorial and now we welcome you to our backcountry ski yurts set deep in the backcountry of Terskei Ala Too range among the towering peaks and spur forest. The yurts provide direct access to a great variety of finest backcountry ski and splitboard terrain, wide open alpine slopes and scenic glaciers covered with annual snowfalls of up to 2,200 cm. Ski at day time and enjoy fire and dinner in the evening by staying in our warm, wood burning stove heated yurts.
Itinerary
1 Day. Arrive Bishkek. Meet guides. Drive to Karakol for aprox 6 hrs. Skin up the yurts.
2 Day. Full day backcoutnry ski touring in the area. BBQ&beers at the end of day. Hot sauna to be taken, cold vodka to be drinken. Free time before dinner.
3 Day. Full day backcountry ski touring in the area. BBQ&beers at the end of day. Hot sauna to be taken, cold vodka to be drinken. Free time before dinner.
4 Day. Full day backcountry ski touring in the area. BBQ&beers at the end of day. Hot sauna to be taken, cold vodka to be drinken. Free time before dinner.
5 Day. Full day backcountry ski touring in the area. BBQ&beers at the end of day. Hot sauna to be taken, cold vodka to be drinken. Free time before dinner.
6 Day. Full day backcountry ski touring in the area. BBQ&beers at the end of day. Hot sauna to be taken, cold vodka to be drinken. Free time before dinner.
7 Day. Ski out in the morning. Meet vehicle at trailhead. Drive to Bishkek. Accommodation in hotel. Final night and dinner.
8 Day. Transfer to airport for your upcoming onward journey. End of services.

1150 EURO* per person
*Price is based on quadrople occupancy in yurts and double occupancy in hotels
