Your Ski Touring Day
Ski touring days range between 1500 - 2000 vertical metres daily and there is always opportunity for longer or shorter days depending on your fitness, skills, experience and weather.
At your first day, you will meet guides to refresh your knowledge about avalanche safety as well as the use and care of the Electronic Avalanche Transceiver (beacon). Everyone will get an opportunity to practice several searches for hidden avalanche transceivers that would imitate a skier or boarder stuck under the snow mass.
Every morning we inform you about weather and snow conditions for the day.
We are not generally attached to any rigid schedule, but in order to get best snow conditions and weather which is usualy more stable in the morning hours we reccommend your day to look more or less as scheduled below.
Backcountry ski day
08:00 Breakfast
09:00 Final preparations
09:30 Leave the yurts
12:00 Lunch on the hill
13:00 Continue our freeride touring day
16:00 Return to yurts, tired and happy. Apre Ski beers and snacks. Free time for sauna.
19:00 Dinner
Water supply: we encourage you to bring personal water canteen for your trip. This is how we can protect our enviroment with getting less plastic bottles with us. There is always water available to refill your canteens or camelback hydration systems.
Down Days: poor weather may cause a delay or bring changes into our usual shedule. In general we do not have many foul weather days but that is one aspect of your holiday we have absolutely no control over.
* On average we might experience 1 or 2 down day per week.
* Down day activities my include resort skiing, snowshoeing, vodka drinking or any
relaxing activity that works best with you.
